I love getting to connect with each of my Couples!
As a wedding photographer I want to get to know your story. How you met, fell in love and got to this point! It is all what makes you special and helps me know how to best capture your love story through my lens.
What excites me most is the relationship I get to build with my couples. I’m not just there to take pictures; I’m there to support them through the process, make them feel comfortable, and ensure they have fun along the way. Seeing my couples’ love and excitement come to life in photos is what drives me and fills me with gratitude every single day.
And just like I want to get to know you, I want you to get to know me!
I’d like to say that my love for wedding started with photography but it did not. It actually started with planning, I had my little business and everything, I can’t even remember the year but I was in my early 20’s. Although it didn’t go as planned, I still loved love (you can ask anyone). Here is where my photography journey started….with a simple wedding I photographed for a friend. My mom was there to help me and I got paid with meat (they owned cows). True story.
From there, I knew photography made my heart happy. Being all self taught, I started googling and watching YouTube videos. I asked friends to model for me so I can learn my settings and what worked in lighting situations. At this point I was still unsure WHAT or WHO I enjoyed photographing, so I dabbled in a little of everything.
A few years in I got to help (we call it 2nd shooting in the photography world) photograph a wedding. That was it. THIS IS WHAT MADE MY HEART HAPPY. COUPLES!!!
Photographing couples and weddings is a true passion of mine, and it’s not just about taking pictures—it’s about capturing moments that are so deeply meaningful. There’s something magical about the way a couple looks at each other, the quiet moments between vows, or the joyous celebrations with friends and family. I’m drawn to the real, raw emotions that come with these milestones. Every couple is different, and I love being able to capture their unique connection—whether it’s the nervous excitement before the ceremony or the carefree joy on the dance floor.
Weddings are full of fleeting moments, and it’s such an honor to be the one to preserve those memories for couples to look back on for years to come. The way a bride’s eyes light up when she sees her partner for the first time, the laughter shared with friends, the intimate glances exchanged during a quiet moment—these are the moments I live for. As a photographer, I get to freeze these emotions in time, telling a love story that will live on in every photograph.

I’d take a ma-n-pop shop over a chain any day. On vacation, you will always fine my husband and I checking out new places on vacation.

I’m next to the pool all summer and am attempting to ski all winter! And did I mention, I am always up for a challenge! I will be forever excited to compete in Tough Mudders and challenge myself physically! I’ve got 10 under my belt.

I started with photographing anything I could get my hands on from families, maternity, headshots, etc. After a year of shooting a little of everything I decided to choose my niche, weddings and high school seniors. In 2022, I moved to the great state of Alaska with my husband and my 2 dogs where I continue to grow my photography business.
